Travis Gerhart is a graphic designer, lettering artist, and arts & culture advocate based in Marquette. He brings many years of experience participating, volunteering, and leading community-based arts organizations, including the Copper Country Community Arts Center, Chicago Chapter of Freelancers Union, AIGA Chicago Mentor Program, and the Upper Peninsula Arts & Culture Alliance. He is the Vice Chair of The City of Marquette Arts & Culture Advisory Committee and has become an Alpine Patroller with the National Ski Patrol. Travis holds a BFA in Graphic Design and continues his artistic curiosity through various workshops, conferences, and podcasts. He’s the graphic designer at the Marquette Food Co-op and has a deep connection with local food systems. Outside of work, he enjoys gardening, swimming, camping, and spending time with his family and friends.
