FIRST Robotics Team 3617 Cold Logic

We are the Marquette area, high school-level, FIRSTRobotics Competition Team. Cold Logic encompasses the Marquette Area Public Schools, Marquette home schools, and North Star Academy.

We compete in the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) with 52,000+ other teams worldwide. Every year, FIRST- our parent foundation- provides a challenge and rule book that we must build a robot around. The robot must be built in only six short weeks, on a budget, and within strict size restrictions. Teams then compete with their robots at the district/regional, state, and international level.

Students not only learn S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math)- related skills; but also business management, public speaking, event planning, grant writing, and Gracious Professionalism.

It is our greatest goal that students who are a part of Team Cold Logic gain confidence in themselves, their skills, and their ability to learn from failure. We aim for students to create lasting friendships and networks not only on their own team, but with members of other teams, as well as members of our community.

Cold Logic students are encouraged to be creative, free-thinkers. They are encouraged to be leaders through Student Administrative Positions. And above all, they are encouraged to be Gracious Professionals.
