We are a loosely woven group of handweavers who meet monthly to promote the art of handweaving and related fiber arts. We have about 15 active members and our monthly meetings consist of a short business meeting, show & tell and a fiber related program. We meet on the 2nd Thursday of the month in the lower level of Peter White Public Library at 6:30 pm. We do not meet in July and August. We meet off site in April and December. Dues are $10/year and are collected in Sept/Oct.

We have an annual show/sale at the SweetwaterCafe in Marquette in the spring, typically around March/April. We often are asked to demonstrate weaving at local festivals.

We have particpated in the Midsummer Festival, the NMU Folklife festival, Finn Fun Fest, the Iron History Museum fall harvest days festival, Alpaca days in Skandia.

Our members participate in regional art festivals and have their items for sale in many area galleries and shops.
